Summerbridge San Francisco is delighted to share the news with the UHS and Summerbridge communities that the San Francisco office of AT&T, through Breakthrough Collaborative, has granted an award of $25,000 to support Summerbridge San Francisco and $25,000 to support Breakthrough San Francisco at the San Francisco Day School.  Today’s grant is the largest in the history of the AT&T/Breakthrough partnership.

Ken McNeely, president for external affairs for AT&T operations in California, said:  “Today’s grant award of $50,000 salutes the thousands of young people who have built from their Breakthrough experience, achieved academically in middle school and high school and gone on to succeed in four-year colleges across the United States.”

The money will be used to further Summerbridge San Francisco’s dual mission: to prepare motivated and talented public and parochial students to enter and thrive in academically-challenging high schools, colleges, and beyond; and to provide meaningful teaching opportunities for high school and college students, encouraging them to consider entering the field of education.

Summerbridge San Francisco is proud to be partnering with both AT&T and Breakthrough Collaborative, and we look forward to continuing working with them in the future.
