The Youth Ambassadors Program with Haiti is a fully-funded exchange program that joins 16 Haitian high school students and 2 educators with 8 US students and 1 educator to study civic education, community service and leadership development. Over the course of three weeks, the group will participate in site visits, activities and curriculum focused on the environment and social entrepreneurship in San Francisco and travel together to spend a week in Washington D.C.

YEA Camp was founded on the belief that, from a young age, people are naturally idealistic and compassionate and want to help others. They can see the world for what it could be and instinctively want to take action to make the world a better place. Yet, despite thousands of hours in school, most young people do not learn skills, have role models, or receive encouragement to address some of the biggest problems in our society.
