Peter Saraf '83 - Producer

I produce movies. Mostly narrative features, but some documentaries as well. Some of the movies I have made are Little Miss Sunshine, Adaptation, Our Idiot Brother, The Kings of Summer, Safety Not Guaranteed, Mandela, Sunshine Cleaning. I have been nominated for an Academy Award and have won several other awards. 

Why he chose this profession: 

I really discovered my love of storytelling doing theater at UHS and that led me to major in theater in college. I branched out into film in my twenties and have been producing ever since. Producing has allowed me to be creative, entrepeneurial and diverse in what my job entails. Website.

Grant Singer '13 - Filmmaker

Writer and director currently attending the University of Southern California. He has recently won Best Director at USC's 18th Annual Ed Wood Film Festival, and is continuing to pursue his passion for filmmaking at festivals across the country. Website.

Drew Vaupen '81, Writer and Producer

Drew Vaupen has been writing and producing half hour television since 1994. He is best known for co-creating the Disney Channel sitcom Good Luck Charlie and serving as executive producer throughout its four year run. He has been honored with two Kids' BAFTA awards and two Emmy nominations for Best Children's Series.
