WHO: The Double Time Jazz Combo and other groups
WHAT: The Spring Music Recitals!

WHERE: The UHS Theater
WHY: Who doesn’t want to listen to the musical stylings of our
illustrious UHS Music Department? On Thursday, April 24 at 7PM, The
Double Time Jazz Combo (led by Terrence Brewer) as well as several
groups led by Ernesto Mazar-Kindelan will take the UHS stage to show
us what they’ve been working on this semester.
The Double Time Jazz Combo will be performing two compositions:
Dat Dere by legendary Jazz pianist Bobby Timmons and SkyDive by
iconic Jazz Trumpeter Freddie Hubbard. Dat Dere written in 1960 for
the Art Blakey Jazz Messengers group and SkyDive was written in 1972
and appears on Hubbard's fourth album as a band leader.
For Music Projects groups led by Ernesto Mazar Kindelan, music by
Beethoven, Mozart, and Stravinsky are all on the bill!
This event is open to friends and family and admission is FREE! So,
make sure you go to the Theater Thursday evening and check out their
incredible work!
