GOLD Leadership Committee Members

• Create community with fellow UHS GOLD alumni through events and gatherings.
• Give back to the next generation through leadership and philanthropy.
• Develop relevant GOLD programs and initiatives that create a tangible impact.
• Mentor and educate current students through college and career advice.
• Foster passion and pride for the Red Devil alma mater.

The GOLD Leadership Committee plans and executes events for young alums. UHS provides PR/marketing support and funding. Here are some examples of programs and events that could be planned:

• Virtual lunch & learns
• Attend Big Red Friday, playoff games, Chase Day happy hour
• “Bar tab” nights – M/T/W bar meetups
• IRL Wine tasting
• Promote benefits of LinkedIn for networking
• Organize professional networking Pizza Parties
• Group travel 
• Share news about GOLD alums doing interesting things in the community/world (the Alumni Association will use your tips for Alumni Honors nominations, Runway Lecture speakers, and Class Notes)

Responsibilities:

• Occasional zoom meetings for members to announce and discuss upcoming events, fundraising initiatives, etc. 
• Donate $1 or more annually by May 30 to the UHS & Breakthrough Summerbridge Annual Fund
