GOLD is a Community of Graduates from the Last 10 Years
GOLD Leadership Committee Members
- Create community with fellow UHS GOLD alumni through events and gatherings.
- Give back to the next generation through leadership and philanthropy.
- Develop relevant GOLD programs and initiatives that create a tangible impact.
- Mentor and educate current students through college and career advice.
- Foster passion and pride for the Red Devil alma mater.
The GOLD Leadership Committee plans and executes events for young alums. UHS provides PR/marketing support and funding. Here are some examples of programs and events that could be planned:
- Virtual lunch & learns
- Attend Big Red Friday, playoff games, Chase Day happy hour
- “Bar tab” nights – M/T/W bar meetups
- IRL Wine tasting
- Promote benefits of LinkedIn for networking
- Organize professional networking Pizza Parties
- Group travel
- Share news about GOLD alums doing interesting things in the community/world (the Alumni Association will use your tips for Alumni Honors nominations, Runway Lecture speakers, and Class Notes)
Responsibilities:
- Occasional zoom meetings for members to announce and discuss upcoming events, fundraising initiatives, etc.
- Donate $1 or more annually by May 30 to the UHS & Breakthrough Summerbridge Annual Fund
