Chamber Orchestra

From the UHS Chamber Orchestra

Chamber Orchestra is proud to perform Prayer of St. Gregory featuring Sarah Cheung ‘21 on Flute.

The Prayer of St. Gregory illustrates Hovhaness's style of despair. Depicting St. Gregory the Illuminator, the patron saint of the Armenian Apostolic Church who was imprisoned for twelve years, this piece embodies a powerful and stirring prayer, a cry for help and forgiveness – a sentiment that can easily resonate with all that the world is experiencing these days. Chamber Orchestra also proudly presents feature pieces by Clara Chung ‘20, and Sarah Cheung ‘21.

A Special Thanks (Congratulations) to our graduating senior Clara Chung from all of us in Chamber Orchestra! We all will miss your beautiful cello playing.
