Community Day
Different from the MLK Day Symposium, Community Day is a day when we look inward. On this day, there are fewer teach-in style workshops, and more interactive discussions and storytelling spaces instead—these may include panels, racial autobiographies, and maybe even a field trip or two. On Community Day, many student clubs and affinity groups, often in collaboration with each other, lead sessions focused on how their club’s work relates to the theme of the day.
