Photo III: Book Project

This semester Photography III students were asked to produce a comprehensive body of work on a topic of their choice. Students chose subject matter that interested them personally and learned how to translate it into a broader cultural realm. The goal was to link separate photos into a larger cohesive whole using a book format. Additionally, this project was intended to illustrate and build upon a culmination of conceptual, aesthetic/formal, technical, and visual literacy skills learned in prior Photography classes.

Additional Kudos go to my Photo III students. Each showed great creativity, discipline, and independence this semester. Their books are evidence that they are able to reflect and transform personal experiences into socially conscious works that are both visually exciting and inspirational!
