Dear New Students and Families,
We are thrilled to welcome you to University High School! On this page, you will find important information and helpful resources that we hope will make your transition to the UHS community as seamless as possible. We hope you'll bookmark and revisit this page often throughout the coming months as we update information and add new features. Congratulations!
P.S. Our Head of School and Dean of Students want to start learning your faces and names, so be sure to send a family photo, including student and parent(s)/guardian(s), to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have a smartphone, please take the photo in square mode!

UHS SUMMER READING
Our all-school summer read is Pulitzer Prizewinning All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony
Doerr. In the Fall, there will be a Cluster discussion/activity about the book.
We recommend that all students get a San Francisco Public Library card, whether or not you live in San Francisco. An SFPL card gives you access to some incredible books and
databases, including many that we don’t have in our library.
MENTORING PROGRAM FAQ: A GUIDE FOR NEW STUDENTS
In order to answer the questions we've received so far about University's Mentoring Program, we have put together an FAQ webpage—just for you, and just about the Mentoring Program. Please check it out—and don't hesitate to let us know if you have a question that we haven't yet addressed!
ORDER YOUR UHS SPIRITWEAR!
Now that you are part of the UHS community, it's time order some Red Devil spiritwear! This was a big hit at New Families Saturday, and we sold out of many styles. If you weren't able to get the t-shirt or hat you were hoping for, click here to access the online UHS school store.
CONNECT. INVENT. DESIGN.
Our strategic design ("connect.invent.design.") is garnering lots of positive national attention, and we are eager to share it with you—click here to learn more about our exciting vision for the future of University High School!
