Student Life

Lorem Ipsum Dolor

At UHS, we are proud of the many offerings students may take advantage of during and outside of their school days.

WELCOME TO STUDENT LIFE AT UHS

Students will be able to engage with each other in the many clubs, sports teams, affinity groups, student leadership opportunities, and performances at UHS. Through these activities and offerings, students will be able to learn more about who they are, what they value, and what their stamp on UHS will be.

We are launching this school year at full capacity, we are thrilled to welcome back certain in-person events like plays, music performances, sports gatherings, and lively all-school meetings.

Community agreements

  1. We understand that we all have ownership over creating a safe environment.
  2. We remember that while we may have different backgrounds and experience things differently, we share a common goal of knowing and understanding more.
  3. We stay curious. We start from wherever we are, and we don't end up where we started.
  4. We trust that discomfort is a catalyst for learning and growth.
  5. We give ourselves and others license to fumble; we accept that mistakes are a part of the learning process.
  6. We are flexible; we remain changeable. We allow perspectives to shift and alter.
  7. We embrace the principle that we form a web through our common humanity: what affects one person affects us all.

We hope that you can find some time to join us and watch how students live out different parts of the UHS mission statement and core values.

As always, we encourage our students, faculty, staff, and families to live out our school values of agency, inquiry, care, interconnection, and integrity. We know that these values will be challenged, probed, modeled, and imitated in a constant ebb and flow as students move through UHS’ academic and extracurricular spaces.

I encourage you to spend more time on our website exploring what UHS offers students, and I welcome you at any time to reach out with questions about student life programming at UHS.
