College Counseling
The College Counseling program at UHS emphasizes balance and integrates self-discovery, research, and applying strategically. We begin in earnest during November of junior year. We assist students with all facets of the college process: self-exploration, college selection, and visiting, standardized testing, essay writing, applying for financial aid, and choosing a college to attend.
By the end of their time at UHS, our graduates are inspired, confident, and ready for their next adventure. With the support of our experienced supportive college counselors, students map out paths forward that best match their values, passions, and aspirations. While we take pride in the broad range of excellence colleges and universities that our students choose to attend, we are proudest of who they are when they graduates from UHS; individuals ready to live lives of integrity, inquiry, and purpose larger than the self.
